Hope everyone had a Happy Easter that celebrates it! Not much going on in Goo land right now. The band is in the studio working on a new album. It's rumored it could be released late summer or early fall. I moved all the past updates to it's own page. Usually I just delete them but I decided not to this time.

According to the blurb below the band will be doing a concert in July in Michigan!

Major ice storm for some of us here in Ohio! Thirty five counties under a state of emergency! Nowhere near what the Tsunami did. Speaking of the Tsunami, the Goo Goo Dolls raised about $150,000 for those affected by it! Check out their GALB Journal entry for January 7, 2005 for infomation on how you can help. I hear a few items were being auctioned off as well! WTG, Goo Goo Dolls!!! GALB is #1 for the third week in a row!!! AWESOME!!! Love that song especially the live version which can be heard and seen on the Live in Buffalo 2004 CD and DVD! I made some screen captures of the GALB video. There is quite a bit of footage in the video that isn't on the DVD. Click here to see those!

And last a few random Goo pictures you may or may not have see yet! From GooGooDolls.com...

Ahhhhhhh!! It's October already! Which makes me think of my favorite holiday, Halloween! If you haven't heard yet, it's time to start calling your radio stations and request GOO!!!! I hear iTunes has the new single ('Give A Little Bit') for .99 cents! And some fans are already hearing it on their radio stations! The guys did a kicka** job covering this!! Also on the front page you'll find a picture of what the live DVD is going to look like and a release date for the CD/DVD! The release times can and do change. Always check out Goo Goo Dolls.com for more info! Some fans have preordered CD/DVD online at Amazon.com, Circut City and Best Buy.

It's getting to be that time of year already! As most of you probably already know. Mike's birthday is October 10th! I'm going to be doing the same as I did last year. Which was collecting birthday wishes then I put them all up on a page just for the occasion and posted it on my site. Only this year I'll email the link to Krista when it's ready so she can show it to Mike! A big thanks to her! You can email me birthday wishes for Mike up until October 9th so you have plenty of time!

Hello!!! Is this thing on?! An update finally and a BIG one! Thanks to an email from Krista I may just be able to put some rumors to rest you may have read. About the Buffalo July 4, 2004 live DVD and the cover of 'Give A Little Bit'. Can't wait for either of those! But the biggest news of all first!! Now the first time Mike ran the Angeles Crest 100 mile race he did it in 29 hours and 41 minutes. Which is AWESOME. But check out how he did this time!!

September 18-19, 2004
Angeles Crest 100
Finish Results 25:22.13

Hi Tracy!

I am very happy to hear that you are doing well post-op. Enjoy your free time this weekend!! You deserve it!

Well, to answer your question, yes, Mike trained for his second 100 mile race for this fall... As a matter of fact, it was YESTERDAY/TODAY and he just finished about 4 hours ago!! (So, excuse me if I don't make any sense. I'm going on two days of no sleep and no food!) He and I received your email about 5 minutes before we were leaving Friday morning to go out to the race's starting point. We stayed there overnight (I was his crew) and the Angeles Crest 100 began at 5 am sharp on Saturday morning. It was a wonderful day and Mike had such an amazing race performance!! (He said that if it wasn't for me, he wouldn't have done so well... that I was the "best crew" he's ever had... so sweet!) I'm very happy to say that, this morning at 6:22 am, he finished the race in 25 hours, 22 minutes, and 13 seconds... about 4 and a half hours faster than his 2001 time in the same race!!! He went above and beyond his expectations, and I just couldn't be more proud of him!!

And in typical Mike Malinin fashion (as you may have heard), he's pushing himself to the very limits by having to perform with the Goos at a post-Emmy party for Entertainment Tonight/People Magazine TONIGHT!!! So he's resting now and will hopefully be able to walk, let alone play a show! What am I going to do with him?! To answer your other questions that people have posted on some message boards, they are releasing a cover of "Give a Little Bit" in the near future, but it is not for the new record. It is just a single... it coinsides with the release of their July 4th DVD, also due out soon. No definite date that Mike or I know of yet. I've heard the single and seen the DVD and they're great!! I know many Goo fans will be excited to get their hands on them soon. And as of now, they are working on songs for the new record, but that's about it. I hope that this helped fill you in to your curiousities while being "out of the loop" for a little while. I'm so glad to hear you're back and doing better!

Talk to you soon Tracy!
~Krista (and Mike)

A very special thank you to Krista for being such a great crew for Mike during such an important race! :-) Her well wishes to me! And CONGRATULATIONS TO MIKE!!! Krista said it well in her email, "And in typical Mike Malinin fashion (as you may have heard), he's pushing himself to the very limits by having to perform with the Goos at a post-Emmy party for Entertainment Tonight/People Magazine TONIGHT!!!"
