Well, my surgery got rescheduled for next Thursday July 29!! UGH!!! I just want this done and over with!

With that said on with the update! A thank you goes to Sophy at the World Of Goo Message Board! She came across this AWESOME picture of Mike! It's from when he ran PF Chang's Marathon and stopped to play with the band 'Tunesmith'

And incase you hadn't heard already. Mike, John and Robby were part of an ad for the new Corvette sometime last week! I can't seem to find the article and the link that was posted on the message boards wouldn't work for me. However, I did find a link to a tiny picture! Better then nothing I always say! Can't wait to see the ads!

Hello! Hello everyone! Hopefully all of you had a safe and enjoyable July 4th! And if you attended the FREE Goo concert in Buffalo on July 4th! I hope your shoes are dried out by now or least close to dry! I hear the DVD is going to be AWESOME! If only the weather would have cooperated better!

I added some photos of Mike that were emailed to me from Kinzezr and goozooHIo. You may or may not have seen the goozooHIo photos on Fabfay's website in the past. Check out the links below to see those.

And I'll be having major surgery July 22, 2004. Depending on how I'm feeling there may or may not be any updates during the first 6-8 weeks after. Take care everyone!

Another live moderated chat with the Goo Goo Dolls will be May 6th. Make you sure you visit Goo Goo Dolls.com for any changes and information about it. I came across some photos of Mike playing the drums for the band, "The Noisemakers." This was one of the bands Mike stopped to play the drums with during the PF Changs Marathon! Visit "The Noisemakers" website to see those. In the section where there are photos from the PF Changs Marathon there are three photos of Mike.

Okay, the Marathons I had listed for Mike have been corrected and put in order. A few people wanted tips from Mike on training for a Marathon. You'll find his answer in the FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY FANS: section. Credit and a big thanks to Krista, Mike's girlfriend for all her help along with her note below about Lauren Barrett!! WTG, Goo fans!!

Lauren won her quarter-final round. We will let you know when the next round of voting is. We truly appreciate it so much, because we know Goo fans had a huge hand in her winning the first round. So a BIG BIG THANK YOU!!

P.F. CHANG'S ROCK 'N' ROLL ARIZONA MARATHON PHOENIX; JANUARY 11

In a word, debut P.F. Chang's Rock 'N' Roll Arizona Marathon was huge. A total of 24,031 runners packed the streets of downtown Phoenix at the start-the largest field ever for a first-time running event. Bus traffic delayed the start by 30 minutes, but no one worried about that much. Probably because 70 percent of the field were runners from outside Arizona, and had escaped freezing climes to run in 70-degree January temperatures. Mike Malinin, drummer for the rock group Goo Goo Dolls and an accomplished marathoner, ran the race, stopping to play with each of the bands along the route, which took runners from Phoenix, through Scottsdale, to the finish at Arizona State University in Tempe. It took Malinin five hours, eight minutes to complete his drum-athon. "I ran one mile, then sat down and played for four minutes," he said. "I took the Galloway walk/run program to a whole new level." After the race, 15,000 of us headed for Tempe Beach Park for the excellent postrace concert. That's right, the Goo Goo Dolls.

And two links I had up on the More then is known about Mike page for a Bio on Mike. Have been removed. I've been told by Mike's girlfriend, Krista that they were pretty outdated. But as soon as I get the new one I'll post about it!

Long time no update I know! Okay, some of you wanted to know if Mike would be running in any marathons? This is what he had to say, "I might run Suzuki Rock N Roll Marathon in San Diego in June." Mike the producer?! Who knew? Check out the Mike is featured on the albums of the following artists section on the More then is known about Mike page for more about that. Information in the sections Some quick Mike facts and Mike is featured on the albums of the following artists has been corrected and or updated. Don't be surprised to see information on my website corrected or removed. With the help of Krista (Mike's girlfriend) I have the opportunity. I've always tried be careful as to what I decided to put on my website. It's amazing how the littlest harmless stuff was incorrect! I'll be putting up a bio of Mike as soon as I get it altogether! And I'm WAY behind on posting about this! But check out the Tour Diary section at the bands website for March 18, 2004! :-)

I was on the Daily Goo!! The band answered a question I submitted through the "Write The Goo's" page at the band's official site! I just couldn't believe I seen my name when I read the Daily Goo for that day! Anyway here is what I wrote them and their answer:
