From Robin - It's All Goo Message Board;
Who Influenced YOU? Please nominate the Goo's!
Got an e-mail from Music For America. They are looking for people/bands/artists who influenced you to vote or get involved in politics. I personally can say it was the Goo's who got me to vote for the first time (yes I am ashamed to admit that) back in 2000 so I am going to nominate them. If the Goo's influenced you please click on the link and nominate them. I think it would mean a lot to them if they knew their efforts to get people out to vote in the last election (or previous elections) made a difference.

Scroll down to the Who Influenced YOU section!
Thanks!
Robin
It seems Robin and I have something in common there! And to those of you seeing live GOO in Milwaukee, WI tomorrow! Have a GOOd time!

For a great interview of Mike and John at the ASYM Awards visit Wild Axes. It is the second to the last video in the Exclusive Interviews section. A big thank you to Qtemc for posting about this on the Absolute Goo message board!
It is rumored according to Media Play that the new GOO album is set to be released 9-1-05. I emailed Krista (Mike's girlfriend) about this and the information is incorrect. Like I always say you can't rush a GOOd thing. And GOOd things come to those who wait!

Hello everyone! Thanks to the people over at Absolute Goo! I ended up seeing live GOO! They were giving away tickets to the Senior Players Championship held in Dearborn, MI!!! I'll have a review up later. And I finally got one of Mike's drumstick's!!! Not from him though. Maybe next time you never know! Anyway, I did get to say a quick hello to him. It was an AWESOME show! It's been almost three years sense I've seen them LIVE!
The GOOd people over at Absolute Goo are giving away tickets to another GOO concert! 'The Big Brew-Ha' on August 20, 2005 at Miller Park in Milwaukee, WI! You can find all the information you need at their website and in their updates on how you can win yourself tickets!
And an FYI about MySpace.com. The following link http://www.myspace.com/googoodolls IS NOT THE BAND!!! I sent the link to Mike's girlfriend, Krista. She showed it to Mike and unfortunately they can't do anything about it.
And DON'T FORGET TO VOTE FOR LAUREN BARRETT!
7-8-05
I need your help, everyone!
As many of you know, based on my original song, 'Last Time' and my image, I was chosen as one of five finalist in the VO5 Red Hot Rising Stars Contest, sponsored by Alberto-VO5 and Conde Nast Publications. I am up for a demo deal and a four-page spread in various magazines. Currently, my photo is featured in the August editions of JANE, LUCKY, ALLURE, GLAMOUR, and TEEN VOGUE. If you get a chance, pick one up.
Online voting started July 5th and goes through August 16th. When you receive this email, I'd be grateful if you would go vote for me!
There are two ways to vote (and you can do both): go to www.vo5style.com, listen to the song, and vote through the normal voting process AND go to http://www.vo5mobile.com/cast2.php?artist=4 and type in your cell phone number.
If you could forward this email on to friends and family, and continue the forwarding process through July and August, I would really, really appreciate it.
Thank you so much for your love and support,
Lauren Barrett

Here is an email I received from Krista a couple days ago about the VH1 Save the Music Benefit! As always a huge thank you to her! :-)
Just wanted to give you a heads up, in case you haven't heard yet... you know you fans always know stuff before we do!! But Mike said that he and the guys are going to take a break from working in Buffalo this weekend to go to NYC and attend the VH1 Save the Music Benefit. They won't be performing, as far as we know, but they will be there in attendance to just hang out and help out. I think Johnny may be doing something there, speaking or whatnot, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, just thought I would let you know to keep an eye out for them!!
Talk to you soon!
~Krista
So at the Wire Image website they have a couple pictures of John and Mike arriving at the VH1 Save the Music Benefit. There is a link below to those micro pictures. Check out the caption underneath the pictures of John and Mike! It says 'Johnny Rzeznik and guest'! Huh?!?!

The passing of an extraordinary human being. I realize I'm beginning this update in a way I usually do not. Having attended Catholic schools for most of my education one would think I learned all there was to know about the Pope. Surprising as it may sound I did not. It wasn't until the last few months of the Pope's life that I did. He will truely be missed!
And on with the update! I updated the following page; Mike & GGD and other links If you have a Goo Goo Dolls fansite and want it listed just email me. I'll be happy to add it! And incase you didn't already know Rockin Robin's "It's All Goo" website is gone.:-*( The message board is still up though!
A while ago I sent Krista(Mike's girlfriend)a few questions I noticed that were being asked frequently on the message boards. Below you'll find the questions and answers. And as always a big thank you to Krista!
Will Greg be on the next album?
As far as Greg being on the album, he most likely will
be. He's not involved yet in the process and won't be
until they actually go into the studio to record. But
Greg's been keeping very busy on various other
projects.
Did Mike run the L.A. Marathon?
He is, however, co-directing a 50K
race out here through the mountains in August. He's
very excited about that.
Why didn't Mike do a drum solo for "Naked" at the
July 4th show for the DVD?
"I don't know... I thought it would flow better
without it."
(I like the drum solo too!! But I guess I'm a bit
biased!)
Why did Mike decide to do a drum solo for
"Naked"?
"John and Rob told me to do it... it was just added as
an intro for a while."
What was the name of the Keyboards they're using
now or used in the last few shows?
I'm assuming that you're taking about the keyboard
player. His name is Paul and he's been filling in on
keyboards since the fourth of July show.
Do they like performing in small or large venues
better?
"I like both for different reasons. Large venues are
great because you get to play in front of a lot of
people, obviously. But there's something cool about
an intimate venue that gets lost in bigger places."
Will they be having another online chat anytime
soon?
"Probably not for a while, but I'm not sure."
Who decided to do a cover of GALB?
Johnny
